Developed in France, the Mesotherapy technique was origionally used to relieve pain but in the years since, it has gained popularity around the world as a skin treatment. Skin Boosters are micro-injections of Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers in the skin. They differ from traditional dermal fillers in the way they are injected and their effect. While traditional fillers injected beneath the skin or deep in the skin to give volume and shape to the face. Skin Boosters are injected into superficial layers of the skin to hydrate and improve skin quality. This kind of treatment can be applied over large areas of the face, neck and hands to increase the skin's hydration quality. During the treatment, the fibroblasts are activated which new collagen and elastin formation leading to healthy-looking, glowing and plump skin.
HOW IT WORKS
Mesotherapy technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin. This helps to nourish and rejuvenate, boost cell activity and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
Mesotherapy corrects underlying issues like poor circulation, pigmentation and inflammation that cause skin damage. After a course of Mesotherapy injections your skin will look hydrated, glowing, radiant and firmer.
Skin Boosters are applied with a mesotherapy gun, a type of machine that utilises a micro-needle system to deliver a precise amount of dermal filler to the skin at a specific depth. The machine uses suction to bring the skin to the needles which helps to provide even distribution of the filler into the skin.

THINGS TO KNOW
Injection related side effects, such as temporary swelling, bruising and pin-prick marks may occur. The degree of these side effects will depend on how sensitive your skin is. When injected precisely and accurately into the right skin layer, there will be minimal bruising – most of Dr Eissan’s patients do not have problems going back to work, and other social activities.
Bumpiness on the skin may also occur but, these are mostly temporary and resolve quickly with some gentle massage.
