Skin tags are small, brown or flesh-coloured growths found on the surface of the skin projecting outwards.
Skin tags are very common, found in 25% of the people. They can be very irritating and unsightly. Some skin tags may develop a pain at the point of connection with the surface of the skin.

Excision Removal – the skin tag is carefully cut away from the surface of the skin using a scalpel. A local anaesthetic may be administered to avoid pain.

Cautery - This treatment involves snipping away of the skin tag with a cautery under local anaesthesia. no stitching is needed.
