HOW IT WORKS
In non-surgical rhinoplasty, fillers, Botox and threads are used to reshape the nose. The fillers are directly injected into the nose to temporarily tweak its shape.
Fillers
Calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse) – A calcium based, non-allergenic filler that is sturdier than hyaluronic acid and lasts for 10 to 14 months. However, it is not reversible.
Hyaluronic acid (Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane or Voluma) – A safe and non-allergenic temporary filler that lasts for 6 to 10 months. This filler can be dissolved with injections of an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
It is a treatment that is gaining popularity very quickly due to its extremely minimal downtime and immediate results when compared to the traditional surgical rhinoplasty.

THINGS TO KNOW
As with other aesthetic procedures, possible complications of the procedure can include infection, hematoma, discomfort, anatomic asymmetry, foreign body reaction (called granulomas), skin necrosis or even blindness. Granulomas are rare and are most seen certain types of permanent filler. skin necrosis and blindness are extremely rare complication that results from Vascular occlusion or embolization.
Results vary according to procedure(s) done and materials used and may last for average of 4 months for Botox, around 9 months for Fillers and 12-18 months for Threads.
