THINGS TO KNOW
Dermapen anti-ageing treatments cause minimal pain AS the vibrating effect of the Dermapen interrupts the pain receptors. Numbing cream may be applied 15-30 minutes before the treatment.
The Dermapen isn’t rolled or dragged across the skin like a dermal roller, so the tiny punctures are cleaner, more direct and less painful without that dragging or tearing sensation of the needles rolling across the skin.
Side effects, such as temporary swelling, bruising and pin-prick marks may still occur. The degree of these side effects will depend on how sensitive your skin is. Most of Dr Eissan’s patients do not have problems going back to work, and other social activities.
