ABOUT THE TREATMENT
Cellulite is surprisingly common, and studies have shown that it affects almost 90% of women and 10% of men.
Cellulite result from the swelling of fat storage cells called adipocytes. These cells swell up to 60 times’ their initial volume and can activate additional storage cells which add to the swelling. Due to such swelling, the skin stretches, and its surface develops dimples.
Age as well as poor blood circulation and lack of oxygen in the affected areas are the main causes of cellulite.
TYPES OF TREATMENTS
Radiofrequency Therapy – This treatment involves application of a combination of radiofrequency, massage and infrared light or radiofrequency at multiple levels simultaneously.
Subcision – This procedure involves inserting a needle beneath the skin using a device known as Cellfina to break up bands of fibrous connective tissue that separate the clusters of fat cells. Results of the technique can last up to two years or more.
Body Fillers - Here special types of Hyaluronic acid fillers with bigger molecules are used to fill and improve the skin in cellulite areas. Not suitable for all cases.

THINGS TO KNOW
